Spiritual Wake Up - "Guiding Individuals to that Special Place Inside Themselves"
The Enneagram

The Enneagram is a "Map" of the territory of consciousness.  It defines the state of consciousness that the eGo (edging God out) occupies.  Revealing the workings of the 9 egoic character fixations, and the 9 different aspects of ego formation, you will be able to see the "story" of your character fixation and it's "grip" on your Soul.  Once you shine the light of understanding on your character fixation and release it, your Soul can rediscover it's free nature of Universal Being, living in a state of Bliss and Oneness, free from the Egoholic state of "every day" consciousness.  Of course we "know" that the soul is already "free", it's the illusion of the eGo that makes us think that we are not "Free to BE."

At Spiritual Wake Up we will discuss three of the major influences of the Enneagram teachings in the last century ...

George Gurdjieff, Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo.

George Gurdjieff ... brought the wisdom of the Enneagram to the Western World.

Gurdjieff - created the Fourth Way System

Oscar Ichazo ... brought The wisdom of the Enneagram to the Western World

Ichazo - created the Arica School

Claudio Naranjo ... one of the major forces for the interpretation of the Enneagram in modern Psychological study.

Naranjo - personality and essence

The Fourth Way enneagram is a figure published in 1947 in In Search of the Miraculous by P.D. Ouspensky, and an integral part of the so-called Fourth Way esoteric system associated with George Gurdjieff. The term "enneagram" derives from two Greek words, ennea (nine) and grammos (something written or drawn).  The enneagram is a nine-pointed figure usually inscribed within a circle. Within the circle is a triangle connecting points 9, 3 and 6. The inscribed figure resembling a web connects the other six points in a cyclic figure 1-4-2-8-5-7. This number is derived from or corresponds to the recurring decimal .142857 = 1/7. These six points together with the point numbered 9 are said to represent the main stages of any complete process, and can be related to the notes of a musical octave, 9 being equivalent to "Do" and 1 to "Re" etc. The points numbered 3 and 6 are said to represent "shock points" which affect the way a process develops.
